Q. Can industrial enterprises and executives from CIS countries participate in the Russia's Golden Treasury of Executives in the XXI Century Project (RGTE)?
      A. At this stage, human resources surveys are conducted only on the territory of the Russian Federation. In the longer term, considering the historic roots and economic ties between Russia and former USSR countries, and subject to interest on the part of governmental, public or major commercial entities in the CIS countries, the survey may be expanded to cover territories beyond Russia.

      Q. What is the difference between Russia's Golden Treasury of Executives in the XXI Century and the RF Managerial Personnel Training Program?
      A. Russia's Golden Treasury of Executives in the XXI Century is an experiment in executive search performed by a private Russian company. This project is unparalleled in its scope and coverage. The goal of the project is creation of a unified database of best Russian executives across all sectors of the national economy.
      The RF Managerial Personnel Training Program is a government project. Its purpose is professional training of civil servants. The fundamentals of the program are set forth in the RF Presidential Decree No. 983 of September 3, 1997 titled On Additional Measures for Training of Government Employees.

      Q. Do government employees or servicemen qualify for participation in the project and inclusion in the RGTE database?
      A. Currently, persons whose activities are related to the real economic sector, regardless of the ownership status of their enterprise (public, private, state-owned, mixed, etc.), qualify for selection to the RGTE register.

      Q. Can regional recruitment companies cooperate with the organizers of the Russia's Golden Treasury of Executives in the XXI Century Project?
      A. At present, the project surveys are performed by employees of Prime Chase company. Possible cooperation with third-party organizations depends on technical requirements of the project.

      Q. In 1999, Russia's Golden Treasury of Executives in the XXI Century competitions were held in various regions of Russia, and the winners were included in the Golden Register. When will the next stage of regional competitions take place?
      A. Following a revision of the RGTE project methodology, public competitions and selection rounds are not expected to be held in the near future. Human resources audit is performed by Prime Chase experts through a comprehensive survey of the regions and identification of most professional executives, owners and co-owners of businesses.

      Does the RGTE register include students?
      A. Currently, the project embraces top tier of managers, i.e. most professional owners and co-owners of businesses. In the longer term, RGTE project may involve creation of a register of best students and an employment assistance program.
